Wherever You Go, Go Choate! – With alumni in nearly every corner of the world and a network 18,000 strong, Choate Rosemary Hall grads go on to do incredible things. So when a colleague in the Office of Development & Alumni Relations mentioned the tagline “Wherever You Go, Go Choate,” it sparked the perfect idea for the Annual Fund campaign.
Inspired by the charm of 1950s block-letter postcards, I imagined a series that no one could resist flipping over—each revealing a powerful message from an alum whose journey was shaped by their time at Choate.
As Creative Director, I partnered with Alexander Isley Inc. to bring the design concept to life.
Each piece featured a pocket-style sleeve containing a call to action, and a response envelope—inviting recipients to connect and give back.
Strength in Numbers – Annual giving is the heartbeat of schools like Choate Rosemary Hall. Every gift—no matter the size—has a real, lasting impact on students’ lives. These unrestricted donations help create the rich, dynamic experience that defines a Choate education.
Using a unique iron-cross fold, each panel highlights a student story or data point paired with a specific gift amount—making it easy to see how generosity translates into meaningful change. The final panel includes a heartfelt call to action, along with a reply card and return envelope. Wrapped in an eco-clear bag, the folded square self-mailer stands out, inviting recipients to pause, open, and be inspired.
